This tool removes empty lines without removing repeated content. By default it also removes lines made entirely of spaces or tabs. Turn that option off to remove only truly empty lines. Optional trimming changes the edges of the output lines while leaving your input intact.
Get the result you expect
- Repeated lines remain repeated; this is a spacing cleanup tool.
- Line order is always preserved.
- A final line terminator is not counted as an extra blank record.
Files are read as UTF-8 text. CSV and TSV are handled by physical line, without parsing quoted records or columns. Input is limited to 10 million characters; uploads to 10 MB.
